Downtown St. Paul, MN
A true staple of Downtown St. Paul's nightlife and music scene. If you want everything from good food and drinks to a small, intimate venue, this is the place to book. The energy is amazing and truly palpable, with friendly staff who take care of their regular patrons all the way to touring bands and their photographers.
Ninilchik, AK
A one-of-a-kind place, on the coast of Alaska and completely removed from all of the hustle from the States. It hosts two of the largest music festivals in Alaska: Salmonfest and Sacred Acre. If you are looking for a big festival with family closeness, surrounded by trees and getting a chance to see glittering laser rain, this is the place to be.
Anchorage, AK
If you have ever visited Anchorage, I am almost positive you have been here once. It has six different bars, all with different themes, and even an arcade. There is always something to do there, and amazing photo opportunities outside of their music, which ranges from EDM to metal, with some nice dad rock in between.
Homer, AK
This venue is for, well… the characters. In a very small fishing town called Homer, this is the place to be. A very small but welcoming bar where you will make great and fast friends, and be a part of the wonderful culture of Homer even for just one night.

I am an artist at heart, whatever mode or method that may be. I fell in love with photography, especially because I have been told I have a very special knack for making people really feel beautiful and like themselves. (The trick is I make funny and weird faces until they crack.)
I got into photography competitions in middle and high school and lost once because a few of the judges didn't like the creative elements I included, so I started to find people who did like those things, and not only liked them, but actively sought them out.
I have been a photographer in California, Nevada, Alaska, and now I am beginning to try to find new roots in Minnesota. I have completely fallen in love with concert photography by doing EDM festivals in Alaska, but I want to expand so much more — especially after shooting the Art of Love and Power tour when it came to St. Paul.
I am compassionate, fun, and will always be your right-hand gal for whatever your day needs — including but not limited to holding up bridal gowns while they use the restroom, or holding a bassist's cigarette while he fixes his strings.

Her concert photography is SO cool and has a really energetic feel that makes you feel like you were actually there, and I love how that same eye carries over into her landscape work too. She has such a good way of finding interesting light, color, and little details that most people would probably walk right past.
Johnnye has been my photographer for almost all my big moments, from my college graduation to my engagement, all the way to my wedding day. Her wedding photos were amazing. She was patient and fun, which greatly eased my stress on my big day.
